Color therapy has been around for years!
The ancient Egyptians used color therapy for cures and ailments, Paracelsus shared his knowledge of rays, music and herbs and Issac Newton was the pioneer of color. If you failed your history exam, you would have known that Newton passed a beam of sunlight through a prism thus creating seven colors. He also discovered when the rays were passed again through the prism, the rays turned back into white light. In conclusion, the white light was made up of seven rays.
Coincidentally Our bodies also have seven rays of light. From the root chakra (red) to the crown chakra which flows white. Nature has provided us with an abundance of foods that vibrate these colors as well. I use color therapy as one way to balance the chakras. Particularly, I use it as a way to look at our diets.
It makes sense right? Chakras are made up of energy that flow throughout our bodies and food is what provides us with energy. We just need the right kind!
