Two-Bean Chili Recipe 2

Winter months are here and it’s time to warm up!

This chili is delicious and it can’t get any easier.

Three- Bean Chili

Serves 4 + leftovers




  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 3 celery stalks, sliced
  • 1 onion small onion: chopped
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 oz diced tomatoes (any kind will do)
  • 15.5 oz salsa
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 15.5 black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 15.5 navy beans, drained and rinsed


  1. Over medium low heat (in a pan with some olive oil) saute onions, carrots and celery 5-7 minutes
  2. Add pepper, stirring for two minutes
  3. Add garlic and spiced for 30 seconds
  4. Add tomatoes and salsa, bring to boil
  5. Lower heat and add beans, cook for 15 minutes until thickened *Add water to thin it out if you prefer*
