This is not your average tomato soup!

PROTEIN: Cannellini beans are an excellent source of protein for your root chakra. Protein helps strengthen our connection to Mother Earth and our physical health.

Anytime we are experiencing feeling spacey or having too many thoughts or too much on our plate, we are sending an over flow of energy to the third eye. With this, the third eye becomes overactive and large. To balance our minds, we must send the energy to our root chakra to feel grounded and present in the moment.

If you lack eating protein in your meals, you may be experiencing an underactive root chakra as too much protein can energetically give you an overactive root chakra. Finding the balance is key.

RED-COLORED FOODS: This recipe is double delicious for your root chakra because it also includes the color of red. The vibrational medicine for red represents POWER, ENERGY and LIFE-FORCE.

CRYSTALS: If you are working on a health issue or bringing the body from underactive to balance, you may want to also work with the crystals: bloodstone, red agate, hematite or ruby to give you a boost of energy.

For this recipe, I used a brand called, Imagine. They use all organic ingredients and the flavor is out. of. this.world. However, you can use any tomato soup you have on hand.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of cannalini beans, drained
  • two carrots: peeled if not organic, and sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 onion, sliced into big chunks
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 box of Imagine tomato Soup + water (I used 10 ounces more)
  • Herbs of choice: basil, thyme, herbs de provence (I used 1 tsp of this and no other herbs)
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. In a large pan, warm olive oil but don’t let it sizzle.
  2. Add in onions and stir for 2-3 minutes
  3. Add in carrots, garlic and seasonings of choice
  4. Stir in tomato soup and add water until desired consistency of soup is achieved
  5. Add in beans.
  6. Bring to a boil, then lower and simmer for 25 – 30 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and serve.

Serve with croutons if you choose, a big salad and/or grilled cheese. Enjoy!
